A fantastic retreat. The Sheiling is just fabulous, made extra special by the obvious thought that has been put into every detail.

What a wonderful welcome Anthony gave us and a splendid box of mixed veg! The views and cabin are fantastic, you want for nothing here. Have really chilled out. To have that absolute quietness...it's pure bliss.

Our week at The Sheiling will be remembered with great fondness, it has exceeded our expectations on every count - so many extra little touches, such fabulous sunrises and sunsets, unsurpassed beauty, tranquility.
John and Helen, Glasgow, Jul 2010

This place is a little piece of "Heaven on Eath". After a long and stressful year, both of us now feel totally relaxed and re-juvenated. So much thought, love and effort has been put into its creation - we could not have asked for better. Keep your eye on the wildlife - we saw more in Anthony's 'Magic Garden' than on the boat trips - seals, dolphins, harbour purpoise, buzzards, a sea eagle, garden birds and a very cute stoat. Enjoy - you will never want to leave.
Aidan and Amanda, Wirral, Aug 2010
